吾妻の絶景を走る磐梯吾妻スカイライン
幕川温泉は、昔から吾妻山登山の基地となってきた。裏手には磐梯吾妻スカイラインが走る。この道路は、福島市西方の高湯温泉から浄土平を経て土湯峠に至る全長29kmの山岳観光道路。吾妻の山並みを縫うパノラマコースでは作家・井上靖が名付けたダイナミックな「吾妻八景」が広がり、一切経山、吾妻小富士など見どころが満載。紅葉の名所としても知られ、毎年賑わう。
