青森県でも多くのマグロ水揚げ量を誇る深浦町。日本海を回遊するクロマグロは、大間へ向かう前に深浦町沿岸に集まる。深浦のマグロは、やや小ぶりながらほどよい脂と味に定評があり、このマグロを、お刺身・片面焼・両面焼で味わい尽くすのが「深浦マグロステーキ丼」だ。深浦産の長いもとわさびの乗った丼はお刺身用、錦糸卵添えは片面焼用、マグロ節の丼は両面焼用と3つの小丼が用意され、両面焼には提供店独自のタレが添えられる。

日本海を前にした絶景露天風呂が有名
温泉好きなら一生に一度は入りたいと憧れるであろう黄金崎不老ふ死温泉。日本海に張り出し、波が打ち寄せる黄金崎の突端に湧く。高台の一軒宿では、サウナや美しいパノラマの露天風呂が楽しめるが、名物である海岸の岩礁の露天風呂が、海と一体となるような野趣あふれる絶景風呂として知られている。鉄分が多い褐色の湯が湯船に満たされ、風が吹き、目前に波しぶきが散る。当然ながら悪天候の際は利用不可なので、ご注意を。
