The period for the 'Shinari Month' in Reiwa 8 is Nov. 9th ~ Dec. 8th
Although the lunar calendar Oct. is called 'Kannazuki' nationwide, in Izumo, it is said that the gods gather and is called 'Kami Arizuki' (Kamiarizuki).
During this Izumo Taisha, when the eight million gods gather in Izumo to discuss matchmaking and the fate of the coming year, the festival features rituals of welcoming and sending off the gods, creating a mystical atmosphere.
