「積丹ブルー」と呼ばれる爽やかな海岸ドライブ
ニセコ積丹小樽国定公園に含まれ、「積丹ブルー」と呼ばれる美しい積丹の海は、道内で唯一海中公園（※）に指定されています。
奇岩や大岩が点在し、入り江と断崖絶壁が続きます。
積丹半島の海岸線にそってぐるりと通る国道229号線（一部913号線）は、濃紺の海と絶壁・奇岩が魅せるまさに絶景ロード。
ウニ丼で有名なのが北海道・積丹半島。国定公園や北海道遺産である積丹の海は、豊かな海藻を育み、その海藻を食べて育ったウニは格別の食味を醸し出します。
例年、ウニ漁の解禁は6月より8月までとなってます。
