清流と緑の峡谷美を誇る国の特別名勝地・三段峡。正面口から黒淵までの2.7キロは、竜の口までの動の峡谷、栂崎から女夫淵までは日本庭園の原形の様な静の峡谷、石樋からは再び動の峡谷、まさに山水画そのものの景観が見える渓谷です。特に春の新緑と秋の紅葉の時期の美しさは、大自然がつくりだす芸術品です。
