平家伝説が伝わる秘境
奥祖谷にある奥祖谷二重かずら橋は、高さ約44mの男橋と約22mの女橋が平行して架かる。約800年前、平家一族が剣山の馬場に通うため架設したといわれる。「祖谷のかずら橋」と並び、秘境祖谷のシンボルです。女橋の横にはロープをたぐり寄せて川を渡る人力ロープウェイ・野猿(やえん)がある。
