Rishiri Island Rebun Island Travel/Tour 2026

★ Temperature in Jun. → It's early summer. The average temperature is 13 to 15 degrees.
★ Jul. temperature → The mountain climbing season begins in earnest with the opening of Mt. Rishiri. The average temperature is 17 to 18 degrees.
★ Aug. temperature: This is the end of summer on Rishiri Island. In the middle of the month, the temperature drops and autumn arrives. The average temperature is 20-21 degrees.
★ Sep. temperature: The weather is refreshing and comfortable. The average temperature is 17-18 degrees.
★ Temperature in Oct. → In early October, you can see the first snow on Mt. Rishiri. In late October, winter comes and snow falls on Rishiri Island. The average temperature is 12 to 13 degrees.

★ Clothing for Jun. and Sep. → Long sleeves and long trousers are the norm. We recommend wearing a shirt or blouse even during the day when sightseeing. It can get chilly in the mornings and evenings, so it's a good idea to bring a thin jacket as an extra layer.
★ Clothing for Jul. and Aug.: Summer clothes such as short sleeves and shorts are fine. However, if you are Itinerary to go sightseeing in high altitude places or forests, we recommend a thin T-shirt and long pants.

They can be purchased at Wakkanai Airport or at each hotel shop.
The souvenir shops in each tourist spot are small and don't sell many sweets.
*There are relatively large shops at Otatomari Swamp and Sukoton Cape.

On both hiking trails, if you walk partway and then decide to quit, you can return to the bus.
At the drop-off point along the way, you will return to the bus and travel ahead to the finish line.
Since there are no forks in the road after the retirement point, you cannot retire midway. (It is possible to stay on the bus from the beginning without walking.)

The colony is located in a different area from the hiking trail and is not included in the hiking trail.

This tour only includes the Rebun Forest Road course, but does not include the Momoiwa Observatory/Momoiwa-Shiretoko course.

Yes, it is possible. However, please refrain from doing so during bad weather.

The chances of flights being cancelled in the summer are low, but if there is a typhoon or cyclone affecting the weather, we will conduct weather surveys to determine whether or not to operate the flights.

Unless options are provided, you will need to check availability and make your own arrangements on the day.
There may be time to upgrade to a first class cabin at the port on the day (barring irregular weather conditions or delays), but this cannot be guaranteed.

Many ferries have a lot of seating space and few chairs.
There are vending machines (selling drinks, snacks, etc.) and restrooms.
