Yaeyama Islands
Iriomote Island
Iriomote Island is a registered World Heritage Site. It is a mysterious island with mangrove forests and virgin forests that have continued since ancient times. It is also called the Galapagos of the Orient and is known as the island where Iriomote Cat, a natural monument, lives.

マリユドゥの滝

野生生物保護センター

ウタラ炭坑

沖縄で最も長い河川、浦内川の支流である宇多良川付近で、1935年～1943年頃まで稼働していた炭坑の史跡です。近代化産業遺産の一つに認定されています。
由布島（ゆぶじま）

古見のサキシマスオウ群落

Ishigaki Island
It is an island in the Yaeyama Islands, located in the East China Sea about 400km southwest of the main island of Okinawa. It is the third largest island in the prefecture after the main island of Okinawa and Iriomote Island. It is bustling as the gateway to tourism in the Yaeyama Islands.

Kohama Island

It is located almost halfway between Ishigaki Island and Taiwan, and is the westernmost island of Japan.
It is an isolated island in the middle of rough seas, and in the past it was so difficult to visit that it was called "Donan" (difficult to cross).

海底遺跡
