近畿日本鉄道の特急車12200系を団体専用列車15400系に改造したクラブツーリズム専用の団体列車「かぎろひ」。
特定の旅行会社が年間を通して専用に使用する団体列車は「国内初」となります。観光の「あし」としての利用だけではなく、移動教室や交流サロンといった「カルチャートレイン」としてもご利用いただけます！
The nickname "Kagirohi" means "shining light"
列車名はクラブツーリズムが公募し、総数約7,500件の中から奈良県在住の男性が応募した「かぎろひ」に決定しました。「かぎろひ」とは「輝く光」のことで、朝日の美しい空を表しており、
「東の野にかぎろひの立つ見えてかへり見すれば月傾きぬ」
と万葉集に詠まれているように、重厚感や荘厳な趣を感じさせます。
