What is Daini Kaiho?
第二海堡は、明治～大正に首都防衛を目的に造られた3つの海上要塞（ようさい）の一つでしたが、関東大震災（1923年）で砲台の多くが壊れ要塞としての機能を失いました。現在は一般の上陸が禁止されていますが、2019年より一般上陸が可能になりました。まだ個人での上陸が禁止されている中で旅行社のみが上陸を許可されています。

The inside of Daini Kaiho has not been developed for tourism. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes as you will be walking along slopes and unpaved roads. Please refrain from wearing high heels or sandals.

Please note that if the captain of the boat determines that it is difficult for people with disabilities, such as those using walking sticks, to disembark, you may be asked to wait inside the boat.

There are no restrooms on Daini Kaiho. However, as the number of restrooms is limited, please use the restrooms at the boarding area.
