About Yamashiro Ruins and Takeda Ruins
The National Historic Site Takeda Castle Ruins was selected as one of the "Japan 100 Castles ®" by the Japan Castle Association in Heisei 18, and many people visit it every year. With the castle tower in the center, the south thousand jo mats, the north one jo, and the flower house are arranged in a radial pattern, and the entire mountain on which the castle is built looks like a tiger lying down, so it is also called "Tora Fusujo (Torafusujo and Kogajo)".
In the early morning on a sunny day from autumn to winter, you can see the Takeda Castle Ruins surrounded by clouds, and its appearance is reminiscent of a castle floating in the sky, creating a fantastic landscape.
