Wakura Onsen is a representative hot spring in the Hokuriku region and Ishikawa.
It is said that the hot spring first gushed forth from Yunotani in Maruyama, west of Yakushidake, 1,200 years ago, and then, due to crustal movement, its outlet moved 60 meters into the sea offshore.
During the Eisho era, a fisherman couple living in Wakura saw a white heron relaxing in the steaming sea, and discovered Wakura, a bay from which hot springs gush out.

The spring quality is sodium-calcium chloride spring and is colorless and transparent.
The salt content is very high, so if you have sensitive skin, please allow your skin to get used to it before enjoying the bath. It is also known to be highly effective for easing neuralgia, joint pain, and back pain.

At Kagaya, you can enjoy hot springs in the men's large bath "Ebisu no Yu," the women's large bath "Benten no Yu," and the women-only large bath "Kagami no Yu."

This is the first inn in the Hokuriku region to adopt an inclusive system, which opened in Oct. 2015. (This is a system where some services, such as drinks at dinner and breakfast, are included in the price.)
