清津峡は、雄大な岩礁と清流からなる日本有数の景勝地です。昭和24年9月に国立公園に指定され、その荘厳なる閃緑ひん岩と柱状節理の美しさから、黒部峡谷、大杉谷とともに日本三大峡谷の一つに数えられています。清津川を挟んで切り立つ巨大な岸壁がV字型の大峡谷をつくり、雄大な柱状節理の岩肌とエメラルドグリーンの清流が、訪れる人々に深い感動を与えます。
